New Phalaenopsis with black spots and translucent halo on leaf
 

Hi,

I got this new phal as a gift. Unfortunately, it came with these black spots with a translucent halo around it. I’ve never seen it before and I can’t find any pictures that look similar. Any help would be appreciated! For now I’ve quarantined it from my others.

It could be sunburn. I got one with some similar damage that I didn't notice until after purchase.

Looks like super minor sunburn. You'll know for sure if it doesn't grow any more.
