My visit to Little Brook Orchids
 

Hi everyone! So yesterday at the SOS show i was chatting with John Pyfer of Little Brook Orchids and he invited me to go and see his greenhouse and store front, since it was right down the road. so of course i went and it was awesome! i took LOTS of pics for you guys!!! I fully recommend little brook to anyone interested in phalaenopsis or anything that they sell! great plants that are HUGE for the price! everything is well grown and super healthy! here is there website Little Brook Orchids | Welcome they have WAYYYYY mor then whats listed, so if your looking for something in particular, especially phal species, give them a call, odds are they have it!

it was great!!! i was drooling the whole time!! it was amazing, there were at least 10 species that are on my MUST HAVE list and many more on my gotta have lists and it was so overwhelming it was hard to make a decision! but i finally did!

Glad you had a good time, especially clerking. I've heard people say its either a blast or a drag depending on the judges.

And nice picks on the Phals. I love that bellina F3. I wanted to swing by on the way home from the show on Saturday, but poor Marlene had OD'ed on orchids and was ready to go home.

thanks Jim! yeah was a long morning, but it was fun and it was worth it. i can definitely see how it would be a total drag if the judges werent fun.

YEAH! i LOOOVVVVEEEEEEE F3! its such a great cross! i actually have one! its not doing so great, but its growing. i really wanted to get another one (John's plants were so big and healthy it was hard not to get everything!)

ww:( thats too bad! i dont know what tie you went home, but i know they close at 2 so you might have been out of luck anyways. its definitely worth a separate trip up! when i was there, john and trey were still at the show, so it was mrs. pyfer who was standing in, she is really too!

i cant wait until they bloom!

here are the buds on the ambo!!! it grew 7 buds but i knocked the tip of one spike off, so it only have 5 buds left. it does have a brand new spike thats 4" long and growing!
