Introduction
Greetings all. I'm new to the Orchid Board and Just figured out how to post. I have a small greenhouse populated with an eclectic variety of mostly species orchids. The majority are Bulbophyllums and Pleurothallids and Dendrobiums. I gravitate towards unusual small species owing to the space limitations and my 300 or so plants are pushing the envelope. Photography led me into growing orchids after visiting several shows and finding it was much easier to photograph them in my own controlled environment. 10 plants on the window sill soon grew to 40 so the greenhouse was inevitable. The nice thing about photographing orchids is that they never die on you and you can look at them at any time of the year:banana: So my photographic orchid collection outnumbers actual plants by about 20 :1. I have started adding photographs to the gallery and will always be interested in seeing Bulbophyllums and Pleurothallids, especially the Masdevallias that I can't grow in my warm greenhouse here in the central valley of California where temperatures are in the high 90's and low hundreds much of the summer and 110 is not unheard of in most years.i
