... on Sunday! Malihini OS in Cupertino CA
Met fellow orchidboarder aileen! :)
Aileen is just as much fun in person as she is in chat!
She brought me some of her seelding plants, and a division!

I broke my vow of no more dens til I see if I can bloom the ones I have lol
Fell in love with a couple -

D Roy Tokunaga x Silver Wings (1 spike with blooms and buds, 1 spike with buds, and starting a 3rd spike as well!)

D kingianum (3 blooming spikes, 2 spikes with well developed buds, 2 newer smaller spikes, and possibly 1 more spike just starting!)

also got

Pot. Free Spirit 'Lea' x C aurantiaca 'golden dew'
(1 withering bloom, 1 sheath)

Those are really pretty. Very nice kingianum!

Nice plants! Seems like you had a good time. :) The kingianums looks great, it's one of my favorite orchids.

I went to my first show in the fall, and that was so much fun! Can't wait for the next one now! :biggrin:

I'm still hoping to attend my first orchid show. The closest I've gotten so far is a couple home and garden shows. It'll be really hard for the next few years, since all the closest orchid shows (2 hours minimum) are during school and on the other side of my state.:_(

Nice picks! And getting to meet another orchid boarder! How fun. I went to a very small show/expo last month in Livermore. I'll be going to the Pacific Orchid Expo in March too. In fact... I have an orchid board hoodie sweatshirt on order. I plan to wear it to the show :biggrin: Easy way for other orchid board members to spot me, and great way to spread the orchid board word :)

Very cool! It would be fun to say hi! I'll have hubby and daughter in tow, so it's hard to say which day we're going... I'd prefer all day both days! :rofl:
