Please say a prayer for my friend
 

My friend Don has been in the hospital now for about three weeks. He has gone through chemotherapy and radiation for cancer in the broncial tubes. About two weeks ago, he woke up about three in the morning and was vomiting blood. They admitted him into the hospital and found a mass in his lung. They determined that the lung had to come out. Yesterday, they put a stent in, I assume to stop what little bleeding he was still getting into the other lung. Obviously, the man is very ill. He has been in intensive care for the whole time he has been there with the exception of the first couple of days. I am sure that he would appreciate prayers and I would be thankful if you would give him yours.

I appreciate that. I am still waiting to hear something--if the reason they put the stent in did what they wanted it to do. Hell, he has a wife and two kids.

My thoughts exactly. He needs our prayers but caring thoughts from friends are also helpful encouragement for him and his loved ones. Keep us posted.

I know what it's like to be in a situation like this. My grandpa died to cancer and my grandma was diagnosed with a tumor in her brain. Good thing that it hasn't grown in 3 years but it keeps everyone in the family worried. I'll keep Don in my prayers and thank you for being such a supporting friend. Keep us posted on his health status.

We're all praying hard for you and Dom. And we'd better pray for his wife and kids too. I've been through the 'Relative in intensive care' trauma, and knowing that people pray for you helps.

Everyone is in my thoughts and prayers as well... I've been through this many times in the past few years with family. It's a tough experience, but just knowing you have people to support you is priceless! Please keep us updated.
