wow the plant already looks better, has grown a lot since your first pics... good to see! If yours is spiking in dry environment that'll make me feel better about me, which is pampered right now... I love the flowers so much, so crossing fingers for both of us!

Not the frostii- that one is making a new growth- but the Hans Delight is spiking
My house is 30% humidity- but the mix is pretty wet, about 50% on top of the pot.
But yeah- both have grown a bit since january, only given them fertilizer the last two weeks- not even much.
But I would like to repot that Hans Delight- I am afraid its too dry for the bulbs outside the pot- so I placed a tray of water under that one yesterday. As you can see in the picture.
I really hope you get flowers on yours- I assume my frostii will only grow a bulb this year, so maybe next year

Lol, actually it was late January, so a little more than a month. It has grown okay- its funny: it feels like it takes forever, but when looking at pics I realize it hasnt been that long afterall 😎

Not the frostii, but I did repot the Hans Delight just now. Have read bulbos doesnt like being repotted, but I hope it doesnt notice I did it😜 And just keep growing.
Had to support the bulb, maybe it will settle in this direction. That is the downside when they grow out of the pot- the angle is not the same as the rest. Its a spike- and again, hopefully it doesnt notice it got repotted😆
I think it looks okay, in a year or two I will give it a nice basket. Dont have much supply either in my country, so I use whatever I find. And if it doesnt have holes, then I melt some with the soldering iron😎
And I am so the queen of off topic posts and talking😂
Well, it kinda naturally goes off topic when I start talking.

Beautiful plant! I grew one of the parents and it bloomed super easy... Other one is a macrobulbon section which I've heard isn't so easy... Pretty much the kinda mix I plant bulbs in... But can't say I'm all that successful with them especially considering how much I love them and how many I have...

I am considering mounting the frostii next year, if this doesnt work out. But have to be in a small greenhouse container- with leca and water on bottom. Cause no mount could survive in my dry home😜😂 (30%)
But if I make an evironment for the mount, it could work. Or maybe a glass container, that look kinda cute.
Lol, give me 5 years, and my living room is a greenhouse, and I have more aquariums than a fish collector😂😆
I think this Hans Delight is an easy orchid- poor thing was all shriveled up in the beginning of January after 3 months without water (😳 … Now its growing and happy as can be☺️
So for everyone needing an easy bulbo to get them going, something you can grow easily: Bulbophyllum Hans Delight👍🏻
Smells really clean, like in a swimming pool just being cleaned. Not bad, not good- just really clean. So its not even stinky. 😎
