How do you re pot?

Hi How do you repot your orchid? do i just take it out of its container and take all the moss out and put new stuff in?
Should i cut all the brown and mushy roots off? Do i put it into a smaller or bigger pot?

Definitely cut off soft, mushy, rotted roots. If a Phal, pot into the smallest pot you can easily fit the roots into.

It all depends on what genera you have to repot. If it is a Phalaenopsis, I suggest you visit the beginner forum and read all the posts there on the sticky "The Phal abuse stops here".

You might also pull down the search icon on this forum menu and type in repotting whatever genera you have. There should be some leads there.
