where to get clay pots cheap?

hi y'all, just a question. where do you guys find cheap clay pots. im having a hard time finding clay pots with the slits on the sides for resonable prices because i want to repot and find that plastic stays wet too long for my catts. any pointers? thanks

Hi Omar, here in Italy I got the same problem. I can find pots at a right price,but the I have to make more holes like this (put it in the water for 12 hours before doing!!):

that's the only way I found. I've also a ceramist near my house, but I order some pots, they will cost A LOT! like 18-20 $ each one!!

WOW thats such a cool idea. thank bro ^_^ im totally gonna try this. i think that my local walmart is clearing out the summer plant stuff and there might be pots for cheap.

My Lowes carry them but very limited sizes 31/2 inch and 61/2 inch but a LOT cheaper than paying postage from anywhere....Jean

For very small pots, I have found the craft stores (A.C. Moore, Michael's. etc.) are a good inexpensive source. For the smallest clay pots (1.5 - 2.5 inches), I don't add extra holes. When I do want the extra holes, mu husband drills them for me (he's an enabler for my addiction )

Here in Florida Home Depot carries 5" clay orchid pots that aren't too expensive.

Home Depot even ordered some for me a few years ago. And drilling holes in them is quite easy.

Here in the Los Angeles area, Home Depot carries 3" and 6" terra cotta orchid pots. They have an additional 3 holes on the side near the bottom, these aren't slits but they are adequate.
