Aeranthes grandiflora with no roots
Hello All,
I have a question about an orchid that I got that is in need of significant TLC.
It is an Aeranthes grandiflora with no roots at all (stem seems fine). It has five medium-sized leaves and one new emerging leaf.
How am I going to make it grow new roots to survive? it is just starting to show signs of dehydration (obviously as it has no way to take in water).
I have gotten rootless cattleyas to root before but I have no clue about Aeranthes.
So far, I have soaked it in KLN/Water daily for an hour for the past couple days.
I have a greenhouse and live in a humid climate.
It is very important to me to make this plant healthy as it is an uncommon species.
I don't know what to do though to guarantee new roots. Advice would be very appreciated.
