Default Dracula houtteana

Whoo Hoo After three years I finally got the darned thing to bloom! The cool nights at 55 degrees did the trick. This is the only Drac I have but after success with this one I think I will be soon adding more. My orchid growing pals are all green with envy. Now they think Im a big shot!

Awesome! I wouldn't even attempt a Drac here in Florida so I'll just enjoy yours

I am green too but happily so!

I think you're a big shot too! Congratulations!

Might want to go with an RO system from Rays. . .seeing a lot of mineral build up on your pots. *big grin*

I agree with the others, Dracs are so cool. It's wonderful when one can provide the relatively cool temps, shade, high humidity. I only have one (D. lotax) but I really like mine.

Default Dracs are really gorgeous

Yours, especially. I am struggling with lotax. It bloomed beautifully last year and this year, not so much. I will drool over yours and coax mine! Thanks for the hope!
