Default Masdevallia princeps "Golden Gate" x Ebony
Hi all,

I was very impressed by how wide this flower had opened up. Definitely an improvement over the last several months of blooms from the same plant. This little flower is really "puffing out it's chest".

Thanks all for the comments. Looking closely at the pictures and the flower in hand, it looks like the flower split itself between the two lateral sepals. I'm thinking this flower had more movement than it could handle.
