hmm yup it looks not like his pic of the hybrid after I see it. I just know what the tag says for now. If something else pops up mis tagged and then we might can solve this.. Ive seen some dark copper angels but the shape is still very triangularis. Lehua says of some of the other Copper angels are often said to be 'mis tagged' by the judges bec of the strong veitchiana influence on them with nothing but the caudae being improved. that would lend itself to a darker copper angel ..We see how this turns out. We know where it came from

RJars are my little glass bowls with rocks and moss in them ..the plants are in net baskets that fit into the tops of the jars. Hard to find combination of things that fit. you can use any type lava rock, leca , etc etc for hard stuff, granite chips if that what you have anything that takes up some space and keep a little water on it. dont use lots of bark in them.

I use dyna rok a little bark in them, sphagnum on top around the bowl. the net basket fits neatly into the nest of moss. These are little boilers dont get em too heated up. Mini micro climates. The heat build up sucks the moisture up in them during the day then gets cooled in the evening and returns to moisture so it recycles and keep the roots nice and humid.

as he checks tags again!!!

Your RJars look great and sounds like they work well too. Thank you for the explanation and pictures, beautiful plants.

Ill try to get another pic up its color changes with the light and in bright light the orange purple is more burnt orange with fine striations in the flower.starting to take the shape of the triangularis as it unfolds also...got to be a copper angel. I looked and I do not have another to compare this one with....Will have more soon!!

sent pic to the grower he will know and if he says copper angel that what it is

Sort of like your own semi-hydro thing going on? Do you take them out of the RJars to water every time or just to flush them?
