LOL! I love those! I've always found them to be amusing little flowers. Don't seem to see them often though, and I've never seen them for sale at a show (which aside from trades is the only way I typically acquire more chids). Pity -- it's one I would try otherwise.
Btw, Jay's lists "Effusiella " as a syn. -- looks like "Pleurothallis" is still the accepted name.

Interesting ! the hairs are very colorful and it doesn't remind me of toilet bowls...it reminds me if you cut some part off a football....

OMG, this is just so stunning, and cute, and funny, hairy toilette bowl! I have never ever seen this orchid, nor hear about it! May I ask Roland how do you grow this? and any tip I can maybe get one, who sells them? Many thanks, this is just too cute not to put it on my list:-) Amazing!
