Default Restrepia brashypus in bloom

I am enjoying a spike in blooms from quite a few of my chids since I brought them in. We had such a strange summer I think they are enjoying some normal temps. and humidity. This is a very pretty little plant and I didn't expect it to open so fast.

Nice bloom! Good growing, Julie! (I have quite some time before my blooms, I've just noticed a bud....)

I guess I wasn't paying much attention because it seemed really quick from the time I noticed it to the time it opened. Kinda snuck up on me.

The first one I had flower, I didn't even notice the bud at all... just suddenly one day there was a flower! The only reason I noticed the bud on this one is that the top papery sheath is damaged and torn back, so I can see that there is one coming along.

I really like these plants, they seem to just keep bloming if you have the conditions right. I don't have one right now, so I will just enjoy your blooms!!!

Awesome! I like the color and stripped pattern. How warm do you grow these?
