Lepanthes update!
OK so I don't have photos yet. They're bare root plants and I need to mount them but my wood is not prepared yet (I'm using river driftwood and it needs baked to sterilize it) and I'll be out of town tomorrow and working Sunday so it'll be Sunday night or Monday before things get all ready to go.
Possibly the world's cutest plant, Lepanthes melpomene, arrived in a pot, with about four little 1" leaves sticking up from the moss. The other three new plants are:
Lepanthes agglutinata
Lepanthes cingens
Lepanthes deleastes
They originated at ecuagenera, but I got them off eBay. I think next time I will be brave and order direct from ecuagenera. That won't be for a while yet, though. I'll have to expand my terrarium. (I'll probably build a bigger all-Lepanthes terrarium and let my non-Lepanthes minis hang out in the current enclosure.)
Also, as an exciting side note, I have an almost mature new leaf on my ovalis, and two new stems starting on my manabina. Both have several new buds, but the ovalis I think doesn't like the slightly warmer temps where it is now, so it hasn't been fully opening its buds.
Once the summer gets hot enough for the A/C to be on regularly, I might bring the manabina upstairs, as it seems to like the slightly warmer temperatures.
