Just as I started reading your post, my Lola jumped up to the computer screen as if to draw my attention back to her. She approves of her "penpal" and probably would crave some outdoor fun as well. But that is never allowed to happen-indoor 24/7. BTW, that hibiscus looks quite interesting.

DeaC ----- a genuine privilege for gingercat to have this great penpal!!!!!
I'll will upload a couple of pics for you and gingercat's penpal! These were taken recently - soon after some rain, where I had to just put gingercat's cardboard box somewhere to dry out. But gingercat found it!!!

This morning - found a tortoise next to the back door. Not sure how it got there. Maybe got there just by itself.
I put it back in the river - unscathed - after a few quick pics. Swam off pretty quickly heheh.

Wonderful! This is our first day of Spring and after seeing "G" it's off to a great start. What could be better? Tell her a big fan in NJ says

Thanks very much DeaC!!!!! I will indeed for you! Happy spring time DeaC! We just came out of summer here ----- gingy had to endure some super hot days ----- but getting cooler at night now. I think she's beginning to grow the longer hair again now for the upcoming winter.
During the super hot days, I came up with another cooling method ----- by just opening a window for aircon air to flow out a bit, and gingy just sits on an outside table-top to get the cool air from the open window. Worked quite nicely. |
