About the only "medicine" for orchids is "tincture of time" ... patience. Best not to fuss over it. In general, I'd recommend a repot into fine bark. But after leaf removal, I think I'd be inclined to just leave it for a month or so... if it's in soggy moss wait to water until it is nearly (but not bone) dry, then flush well under the faucet, let it drain, and then let it sit until nearly dry again. A bit of benign neglect is very useful for orchids.
