Black spots on Zygo
I purchased this zygo along side with another one , almost in bloom , this one is the Adelaide meadows, and when i brought it home all leaves were nicely green with no spots , within 2 mnths i noticed a few black spots , now 4 mnths later its spread through all the leaves, i only fert once a mnth , temps about 22 c and 45 humidity , lots of air circulation too ,
Tonight i repotted and the roots are super healthy ? I am not sure what to think . I dont have access to physan here .

alas......the dreaded zygo black spot/streaking. Can you get thiomyl or cleary's3336 ? It seemed to work, sort of, on my zygo triste seedlings.
If not try Inocucor - I am trying it currently as a general preventive.

Just found a store online that sells thiomyl , I should have it by next week , I have never used fungicides , should they be sprayed with a spray bottle all over foliage and roots , weekly or just one time shot ?..

dunk the whole plant in the solution, including pot and leaves for about 30 minutes. If pot is too big for leaves, then spray these thoroughly. The white residue that remains after the plant dries needn't be washed off. Its a systemic which is great too. You may need 1 or 2 further treatments as a foliage and top of mix spray only.
Be extra careful about protecting hands, body, clothes, surrounding environment etc. I use mine indoors.
Watch for improvement on new foliage. In my experience - and if this is the typical zygo issue - the spots/streaks on the existing foliage never disappear. Make sure you do both plants as a precaution.

The best way to avoid this is to keep your plant warmer and out of wet, cold winter weather.

My two cents: I am not convinced that this is always fungus/water related.
I have purchased 2 zygos both healthy green lush plants. Within weeks they were infected with the dreaded spots.
With time the spotted growths matured and lost their leaves and new growths developed. No spots. I'm not careful about keeping water off them and they take what they can get temperature wise.
In my case I think it was the shock of a new environment and different treatment. Much dryer and warmer.
I wonder if it just took a while to adapt to things here. They're finally growing much better despite the neglect and no spots.

I wondered if environment played a role , It came from Vancuver and made its way on a plane to Ontario , and i am quite sure my location where it is now is not as happy as it was in a warm lighted greenhouse . The other zygo is fine .

temp stress may be the trigger. My zygo triste seedlings were doing fine in the cooler basement earlier this year. When I placed them outside in Summer, the spots appeared and spread. At the time I thought they had got them from another zygo I had with spots.
