Clear sticky stuff on Angraecum leaf

Alcohol and skewers. Snag them little beasties. I have been battling scale for about 1 year. I got a plant from a friend of mine and did not notice the scale until it had infected a bunch of my chids. Also, one of the growers recently at my orchid society meeting repotted a cattleya and he sprayed everything on the plant including the roots to make sure nothing was lurking and alive. Anyone else ever try this??? Good luck and keep checking the chids.
