Default I hate thrips

The thrips keep eating the cattleya buds. They really mess them up. I have tried neem oil, Safer soap, Bayer and Conserve SC and they won't go away! I am readytoss them all and start over.

Try predatory insects. Green Lacewing larvae are pretty good. Ladybeetles would be excellent, but they tend to fly away home (collect them off your house in the fall and release them in the greenhouse).

I have had good luck with these people. Organic Pest Control, Biological Solutions for Pest Management, Rincon Vitova Insectaries
