I'll clean it off to give the nubs some room, and thank you it's a welcoming place! However I'm still trying to figure out reply etiquette, so I'm doing quick reply then full replies kind of arbitrarily lol

Ok thank you!
Uh oh. Sounds like I might be the minority thinking the plant still has a chance. Yeah, I've been told I just don't give up. I'm like a dog with a bone haha!

Yes, everyone here is very kind and helpful. And no worries about replying. It all works for me and apparently everyone else too.

I also think it has a chance, and though it might not be worth all the effort it's a great practice plant. I discovered it's actually a good idea to practice a rescue with 'unimportant' plants, so that the day you need to save a plant you really care about, you have an idea of what works.

Thanks Camille. I think that's why I'm still trying to rehab mine, for the experience. I hope you've been able to keep some of the plants in your beloved collection, especially that little Sarcochilus you showed was very pretty!

I agree that it’s definitely possible to save it, if given the time and attention, but you have a lot less room for error when there’s only one leaf remaining. Good luck!
