Help! Soft Spot or Cold damage?! Male
Default Help! Soft Spot or Cold damage?!

Phalaenopsis Orchid

The plant remained outside in temperatures of 10-16 degrees celsius for 2-3 days.
I put it inside, but I have now noticed some weird discolouration on some of my orchids leaves.
I was wondering if it's cold damage and should let it be, or if it's some kind of bacterial infection and I need to amputate

I have marked the spots with a sharpie to see if they will progress over the next days.
I am certain there hasn't been leftover water on the leaves, as I am always very careful when watering.
And it's my only orchid. Any advice is welcome!

Update 29/12/2020:the spots remained the same, so I presume it was just cold damage and no infection.
I didn't cut any part of the leaf as I don't want to create open wounds, the damaged parts have started collapsing so I'm expecting them to dry up soon. Thanks to everyone for the advice!
