I would approach that like this:
- Let it dry out, unpotted, for a day or two and reassess the condition of the roots. If they're crispy and papery, remove that part.
- Immerse the entire plant in a KelpMax solution for several hours. it will definitely stimulate the growth of new roots.
- Pot it up in your preferred potting mix for your environment. Something coarse yet water retentive.
- After potting, water it in with the KelpMax solution, and invert a clear plastic bag over the plant and pot to trap the humidty, preventing desiccation. Do not close the bag.
- Keep it very warm and don't let any direct sun come near it.
In a few weeks, you'll see new roots emerging, and that's when you can return to normal culture.
