I think so, as long as you withold water in late October and bring them inside when it gets under 40 according to the sborchid website.

In Dallas? Good Luck! I haven't found too many stores that even sell orchids beyond that standard phalaenopsis variety. I've ordered a few different specimens off of andysorchids.com
Hey maybe the FT. Worth Botanical garden might let you borrow a few of theirs from the conservatory.

Can these guys tolerate uper 20s with some protection from winds like a mini-terranium that is put outside.I'm thinking about Neo. falcata and the orchids listed in Outdoor growing orchids and Cold Hardy Cattleyas. Santa Barbara Orchid Estate say yes, but I want to hear your actual experience...  , beside, Lc. Drumbeat is a VERY nice plant that is always on the top of my wishlist.
