I love Colombia! I've been there twice, but haven't yet gotten to see much of the countryside. There were epidenrums everywhere I looked. I've been around Medellín to that cloud forest park you can get to by air tram (fantastic way to go!), and in Fusagasuga (where they have the national flower [an orchid] of Colombia planted around the trunks of royal palms everywhere), and around Santa Marta, where I saw oncidiums growing on granite boulders very near the ocean, Arbaláez where a neighbor of a friend of mine grew quite a few orchids on her trees, she was probably over 80 years old, but you could see how much she loved those orchids. Didn't see any around Bogotá, but I'm sure they're there. My partner is from there, so now I doubly appreciate your country, who have the happiest people I've ever met.

Hola Santiago, I look forward to seeing your photos. There were lots of interesting plants in Parque Arvi. Also, we had the best tamales I ever had from that lady who makes them from her own farm's produce there at the Parque terminal from the air tram, along with some amazing, fresh-squeezed strawberry juice.
