Default Orchid on a rock

Rainy season has started here!

This orchid has been growing on top of a rock for years in my Escazu garden.

I walked by the plant the other day and saw it was in flower, so I decided to take a few pictures to share.

What species is it? I do not have the slightest idea as it self-seeded on the rock many years ago. If somebody wants to give it a shot as to the identity. You are welcome

Rodrigo

Now that's an interesting mount! Very nice.
I have no idea what king of orchid that is.

Wild guess, Cischweinfia?
Or at least Oncidium or Maxillarieae alliance.

It's an Encyclia, but I am not sure of the species.

I would suggest Encyclia livida or something very closely related to that species (now known by the way as Prosthechea livida).

Default Pseudencyclia livida ?

With all the information that you guys have provided, I ran into this photo of Pseudencyclia livida.

It looks almost identical!

I can't keep up with all the name changes, -that's why I still think of it as Encyclia.

Should have mentioned that it comes in quite a range of color from the yellow shown to a very dark brown. My plant is very dark.
