Miltassia Estrelita 'Sweet Senorita'
I believe the name has since changed, so if someone more knowledgeable could correct me........i purchased this in spike, from Sophies Orchids in early November, repotted right away, then repotted again into full water culture about 2 months ago. Will try and get a pic during daylight hours tomorrow. No scent detected yet (is there normally with this?). The flash is definitely washing out the faint green tint to the petals, and making them appear white.

That is very pretty!
The only orchid I have remotely related to yours is my Burr. Nelly Isler. This is a fragrant orchid but the flowers are only fragrant in the early part of the day and only after five days of being in bloom.
Some orchids are more fragrant with higher humidity, higher temperatures or in brighter light. Hopefully, someone else owns this and can advise you.

That's lovely! The petals look like they have barely been airbrushed with that darker purple. I like!

The Miltonia species I have are fragrant only when the sun shines on the flowers.

4 blooms, still going strong, despite multiple treatments for spider mites, 3 strong showers, having been sprayed by alcohol, and a quick dunk in a miticide, these babies are strong! Also, much to my pleasure, another spike shooting up from the other new growth, wahoooo!

Those are fanstastic looking blooms! I like the delicate brushing of purple on the petals.
According to the RHS International Orchid Register, the plant is currently called Bratonia and not Miltassia. It's so hard to keep up with all the name changes!

Camille I looked at your photos, awesome collection. I just bought Miltassia Estrella “Sweet Senorita”, can you tell what it’s light and water requirements are?
And what fertilizer do you use? Your blooms are unbelievable!
