Spathoglottis plicata #2--Another New Color Available!
Alert!
Alert!
Check your local Home Depo for a new color variation of Spathoglottis plicata.
Check my other post about how lucky I got with my first Spathoglottis plicata Spathoglottis plicata
My luck remains good...at least with finding new color variations of Spathoglottis plicata.
I picked up one plant...then went back through the garden center and picked up a 2nd one that has bud that haven't begun to open yet.
Here's a few quick pics.
I'd just got home with them and the light was fading.

That is beautiful. I let a "Mellow Yellow" slip away on Ebay, while I debated about the purchase. :/
I would be so happy to find one of those at home depot. Ours only carries Phals., which they rapidly kill. It is frustrating because the nurseries will not carry orchids around here (trust me, I have called many, many, many of them) due to being unable to compete with the box stores' prices. Yet the box stores only carry Phals.

Thanks for the heads up, great find! Unfortunately I'm on a temporary ban for purchasing more orchids, I've bought 12 or so in the last couple months!

I thought I'd be done buying new ones, for now.
Was at a thrift shop today. Need baskets for my re-potting, and the ladies told me about an elderly woman "Just down the street here" that grows orchids as a hobby and sells off her extras...cheap (like starting at $5 and up).
So I guess it's over to check out what she might have while I'm out looking for more wicker baskets/pot covers.
