I sort of think it does, because I've come across variability in named clones years ago (can't give an example I'm afraid) and it was explained by mutation in the cloning process. If the name carries over I would expect the award does... however I don't actually know if either the name or the award actually do

The name should carry on, yes, but the award, no, unless it was the alba version that had been awarded (under its own cultivar name).

I'm with Ray. The award I don't think should carry on but the name I would think so.

I agree it would be best if that's how it worked. I just have a feeling it's not the case
