1 big flowers last time... this time 3 nice sized flowers. Just came in from the greenhouse at 5 am after getting a bath. I been on snail watch. You find little round holes on fresh growths and you got snails. They don't chew on them when they get older just fresh and tender

the buds on the other spike might have been compromised by the sheath flaking off. They are chum for bugs.
its fragrance alone is worth the price of this flower...a wonderful buttery lemon citrus scent very amicable to the olfactory sensors. Pleasant and not overwhelming if you decide to stop and smell for a spell..
the other spikes buds are actually looking okey and that will teach me to pull around the old dried sheaths. no telling what they hide and if you pull them out or loose you have greatly increased the chance of losing the buds inside if there one lies. don't pull on any of the dried sheaths or material around the canes. when the canes have hardened the dry skin will flake away very easily. If you pull this stuff off you will end up with skinny weak canes and wont know why.
It has been on my wish list for a while, and I finally have one.
It is a large seedling with many growths, but has not yet bloomed.
I hope my current two new growths might make flowers in the fall.
