A few currently in bloom
Here are some of my current orchids in bloom:
Alcra. Winter Wonderland 'White Fairy' HCC/AOS- I got it a year ago as a piece from another grower who came from Edmonton to speak at our society meeting. It has 5 blooms and a nice spicy fragrance.
C. Petite Song - I bought this as near bloom size last Oct. from Fred Clarke of SVO when he came to Edmonton to speak. I re-potted this a month ago and didn't even see buds. Then a few days later the 2 buds popped out! The petals opened as a pale pinkish yellow and developed a rather deep pink colouring over 3 or 4 days! I am waiting to see how the 2nd bud blooms.
Rlc. Ports of Paradise 'Green Ching Hua' AM/AOS - I can't take credit for these blooms. I bought this last weekend at the show in Edmonton from Ching Hua. The buds have grown fast and opened in the last few days.
Enjoy!

Beautiful. Love the Alcra. I didn't see the Rlc. When I was there but would have snatched it up if I did.

Thanks. At the time I was there which was Thursday helping set up our display and Friday, he had about 2 dozen of them up on the back of his display. You have to go early sometimes or things get picked over. They will likely be at the Calgary show in June. You could pre-order one...

Love the Alcra. Winter Wonderland and the Rlc. Ports of Paradise. I would seem that the Ports of Paradise has a heavy Rhync. digbyana influence. Lovely!

Thanks for looking everyone.
Paphluvr, Rhync. digbyana is a parent to Ports of Paradise. Mine has the fringing on the petals also almost like a peloric one. I notice most don't but a few do when I look up Ports of Paradise in Orchid Wiz or Google. Not sure if this means mine is peloric or what??
