I should've put up a photo of the leaves and pot. I've grown mine in a vanda/mesh pot with smallish, but extremely free draining media - mostly inorganic.
This allows a lot of air movement through the root system and ensures it dries quickly, though I also water quite often. Every second day in summer, daily during heat waves. I guess I'm growing it as close to 'mounted' conditions as one can while still being in a pot. Mostly because my only experience with this family previously has been Psychopsiella limminghei, which really only grow well mounted.
I purchased this guy as a NFS plant last year, and that years' growth is the one that has spiked, so it seems to like my conditions for the most part. As for light and temperature - I grow warm-to-hot and the Psychopsis is up with my Encyclias and Cattleyas. I can't seem to burn the leaves if I tried - even in the harsh Australian sun.
