Thanks very much all
David, this is an interesting puppy to grow, they tend to bloom of very old dried out looking sheaths, also no sheaths at all.
I grow this one inside clay with no media, the roots are very dense and just pushed out the media that was once there. It's a robust grower, not fussy at all.
Enjoy growing yours.
Thanks again all

Thanks for the vote of confidence Gloria. I'll leave the dried sheaths alone.
When mine blooms I'll post a photo for comparison's sake. Hopefully it will be as beatiful as yours.

Gloria they're all beautiful. The Makai 'Louise' is outstanding. Love the Hawaiian Passion too, is it a large plant?

Hay there Terri,
The Hawaiian Passion is a compact grower, you should be able to grow this in a window sil if you choose.
Mines' pushing about 8inches in height now. This smaller catt has the ability to bloom twice per year. Once in the spring and the fall.
