Beautiful! I won' t see C. (L.) tenebrosa until end of July or at this rate, maybe early August. I think that you have been getting some warm weather, I'm still waiting.

Warmer weather this year started middle April. After warmer, the hot is beginning now.

Beautiful tenebrosa! I love the perky shape of this one. I had an aurea in bud, but it unfortunately blasted - so I'll have to wait another year to enjoy my own!

ooooh- i like this. i a ma sucker for the classic brown/orange and purple but this is the nicest variation i have seen.
mine is popping too, i think 12 flowers- i'll get pics soon
