Not Bletilla striata. (Flower shape different though leaves look similar, and I think B. striata is a spring/summer bloomer) Maybe Spathoglottis? Whatever it is, love those terrestrial Floridian volunteers!
striata means "striated," referring to the leaves, which are ribbed. it just happens that the Bletilla striata leaves look very similar to the Spathoglottis leaves.
don't worry, Spathoglottis, like Bletilla, is a terrestrial genus and will do wonderfully outdoors in Florida. your particular Spathoglottis resembles a Spathoglottis plicata.
