Bulbophyllum Echinolabium orchid in full bloom. First flower to open so far! One of my favorite plants

Loooooove. Is this it’s first bloom? Mine is about that size and I’m crossing my fingers and toes, hopefully I’ll see a spike this year

Haha sorry it took so long to respond. It smells like rotting fish mixed with crap. The nice part is unless you get right on top of it you are usually pretty safe. It’s actuall one of the harder plants to keep a flower on though. It smells so bad flies come from miles around and always manage to get in to pollinate it, so they drop off. At least they are replaced soon after.
