Spring is just around the corner
The last groundhog I met in person wasn't even smart enough to not get eaten! How could they possibly predict an impending spring better than this?

I use my turtle... when she wakes up from the hibernation then I know spring has begun.

Spring? I think I’ll go around the corner and see if I can find it! It was 60 here today and going to be 33 tonight.
Do I see a tiny root?

Yup! The Ponerorchis are done chilling in the fridge, it's wake up time.

You ate a groundhog? Was there a specific recipe to make that palatable?

If I respond to this we will have hijacked Subrosa's thread because I can see where this topic would lead.
Great job, Subrosa! New roots are always fun!

Indeed spring will be a long time coming for me. Don't knock my groundhog, that's me birthday!
Yippy for roots however.

Groundhog is really, really good, and like ES said it can be used anywhere pork is called for. Unless you don't remove, or inadvertently nick one of their scent glands. Then, nevermind.........
