I've never ordered from any online vendor before. I normally like to inspect plants pretty carefully before I buy them. But, this month I am celebrating being debt-free, so I decided to get myself a Christmas present. Alas, I was seduced by some of the incredible Christmas orchid specials, the "Santa's secret sale" at Carmela's orchids, to be precise. I read about some members having good experiences with this vendor, so I decided to give them a try.
Wow, I'm so glad I did! I paid a total of $165 and was expecting maybe 10 or 15 plants. I got 31!! All beautiful and healthy, and over half of them are blooming or spiking! Many of them are individually priced around $20, so this was an incredible deal.
I'll give a more detailed look tomorrow, but for now I wanted to show you the happiest box I've ever received. And now I have to figure out where the heck I'm going to put all of these... From the look on my dog's face, she's concerned as well; before long, these green things are going to start invading her cave!
