This is a NOID zygo that I got this week from TJ.
I see this same variety of zygo offered quite often at the store, but they always had spots everywhere and just two or three flowers at most.

Well, this week, I saw this one with clean leaves and one spike loaded with flowers/buds (total of 7!) and a new growth going.
The whole thing is rather small, so I like that too.

So I grabbed it.

It smells just like my favorite spring flower, hyacinth!

Upon closer examination, I find that one flower is malformed. Two of the petals are fused together and there is no lip at all.

Nice looking plant and flowers! The fragrance sounds really great! Some zygos bloom three times a year. Hope this is one of them!

Thank you, everyone!

Well, if this one bloomed three times a year, I would be so happy!

I first saw a very similar Zygo in my local garden center. Smelled divine as you said, but I resisted.

Good luck with it!

Good luck with it. It's really hard to find a Zygo without black spots on the leaves.

Default In the afternoon sun...

The flowers are still very much dark but with the sunlight in the back, they look rather pale.
I like how radiant they look in the natural light though.
