Orchideya, if I were you, I would simply unpot it, cut off any dead roots, and then repot it into either the same sized pot or one that is slightly larger.

as would I! there isnt a good reason to cut perfectly good, healthy, and thriving roots off. just a slightly larger (deeper) pot and your golden!

Thanks guys!
Here is what I did. Unpotted:
Cleaned out the old moss and gave the roots a warm bath:
Potted into clear plastic pot with moss and couple packing peanuts under the base:
Repotted George is sitting on the top shelf looking down:
Did I do OK?

My god, that is awesome!!! Yes, you did a wonderful job at repotting, and I have now become even more envious of this Phal than ever before! I think the only thing that I can think of that has ever matched this strong of a desire to get a plant was my desire to get all the Joy Spring Canary possible when I first discovered the grex! This I can say is going on to the record for the second most desired plant up to date! I NEED THIS PLANT!!!

Re-potted cornucervi too.
Look at those roots. I put some packing p-nuts in the hollow space:
I didn't bury the aerial roots and just arranged them around the plant on the top. All potted up:
The largest bud is getting darker:

Yes! Ellen said that she had several I-Hsin George left, but was unsure about the Princess Kaiulani. She had said that since they just finished a show, and there is only three people working there, things can be hectic, so it might be a little while before she knows and gets back to me.
