Miltonia moreliana and Dendrobium mousmee "Colleen"
At the EPOS meeting last Thursday, I spotted two particularly spectacular specimens; one in real life and the other photographically:
Miltonia moreliana
Dendrobium mousmee 'Colleen'
An absolute monster, over 5m in circumference.
Larger pictures and more information are available on my blog. Orchids on a Balcony: Miltonia moreliana and Dendrobium mousemee

The moreliana literally stops you in your tracks; it's fabulous.
Silken - Not sure of the ploidy of the plant.

Neferet - I only wish these plants were mine. The Dendrobium is 30-35 years old, and I'm not sure about the Miltonia, perhaps 10 years old?
