Right, that's what I meant. I have a tendency to try and include too many adjectives in one go without necessary commas. Or something like that.

But there are actually quite a few, absolutely speaking and not relatively speaking, non tropical epiphytic species orchids. It's my favorite subject, but I don't want to stray off the thread topic.

It's mostly geared for those new to growing orchids, who need to keep track of seasonal timer changes and light meter readings, plus all the usual required record keeping. It's still an early work in process but it's pretty & really useful. LOL

Maybe we could team work one really good version, full of all the necessary info in one place? And market it in the new support store for orchidboard?
Hi gmdiaz- I am new to orchids and I like the idea of your excel spread sheet, if you still have it to share. I'm playing with a couple I made up myself but I'm always finding more things that I need to add.
I realize it's 3 years since you posted on this!

I've been doing a little research on software suitable for managing orchids collections.

After many hours of searching, I have come to the conclusion that the best solution is to use "Collectibles Management Software" that lets you do customizable collections so you can keep track of what is relevant to Orchids in general, and to your specific requirements in particular.

I consider "Collectify" to be the best as it lets you customize everything. Somewhat expensive at $150 but could be well worth it for a sophisticated orchid collection.
Collectify || Collectify software makes it easy for you to catalog and maintain your collection

There is also "Collection Studio" which also lets you customize to you specific collection needs, and not that expensive at $35
Collectible Catalogue - Collection Studio - Collectors Software

I have not decided which program I will use as I'm still testing both trial versions of the programs.

Hope this is of use.

Rodrigo
