Smile Northern Michigan Wild Pink Lady Slipper
Hi all, just wanted to share some pics i took out back of the wild Pink Lady Slippers we have here growing on our property right behind the house in the woods, had a big patch of them but the slugs made a meal of there leafs and blooms. Next spring im gona sprinkle coffee grinds in a big circle around the perimiter of the patch where they grow it helps stop slugs from getting to them. Some of the blooms are a light pinkish some are a darker pink.. None the less all beautiful..
The one pic is the patch of trees where they grow but we do have them growing in other spots as well.

Pics were taken spring late may 2010, we also have loads of wild Jack-N-The Pulpit's everywhere to.
