Man, that is so sad. I vacationed in Maui a few years back and it was paradise...almost cried when I had to leave. Florida is a great state but it pales in comparison to the islands of Hawaii.

I can relate...the job situation is bad down here too, and we all have to do what we must to survive. At least you landed a job. Just wish you didn't have to move away from the most beautiful "orchid friendly" state.

Ya, Hawaii is definitely the most "orchid friendly" state! But Texas is supposed to be the most "wallet friendly" state, so I should be able recreate a mini Hawaii of my own soon enough! lol I will actually miss the spearfishing the most. That is tough to recreate in the middle of Texas!
