I only noticed this thread today - and it was great to see pics of everyone.

I guess I half expected people to be crunchier. You know, clothing made of hemp, pearlite under their fingernails, chunks of treefern in their hair - standing in front of a school bus that has been converted to run on recycled vegetable oil and conservatives' tears - that sort of thing.
