Here's something that I photographed that will replace the "
Bulbo. phalaenopsis craze"... it's called
Bulbo. hashimotoi, and is just as beautiful and big, but not that fragrant. It smells like wet cardboard ONLY if you stick your nose in the sepal "hood". This rare and unusual species was originally collected in 1972 from PNG, and in 1997, was described as a new species.
