I love the pictures of your birds, they look similar to many of our species around here, but very different too. The thrush is so sweet and the jay is just gorgeous, it must be such a treat to look out the window to see such striking birds.
Marty, we have cardinals around here too, they used to nest here until our backyard got too busy with all the wildlife.
They do still bring their young to the feeders when they're old enough, they are so cute.
Those woodpeckers will get pretty spunky if the feed starts running out. They even managed to save our Robinia(black locust) from a borer investation, which would have killed it, so they are heroes in the bird realm.
