I forgot to ask, is H. retrocalla the same thing as H.odorata, or are they two different plants?

yeap! they are the same species and it is an amazing little plant... with very strong scented flowers (but to be honest I do not really like the fragrance, a bit to chemical for me)

Ramon, Pteroceras semiteretifolium is a very easy grower and has been flowering twice a year for me with very cute blooms. The first time it flowered for me (it flowered previously before I owned it) I didn't detect any scent....but this this second time....well it smelled like dirty socks to me.....can't wait to find out how yours smells...lol.

Nice selection Ramon. Would love to see your haul from the show that puts out all the 'bells and whistles', next time

I have a few on my list of ones that I want to try and am thinking of Haraella retrocalla.

Enjoy your newbies!

Excellent haul Ramon! Congrats to you on all of your new chid babies.

I really like the 3 Trichoglottis triflora on the one mount. I bet they will look stunning when they are all in bloom.

WOW!! I love the Cherry Blossom. Mine is in a pot, not doing well. I think I will try it in a basket like yours instead. Great roots on yours.
Thanks for sharing your pics. Marilyn

I think it is fate that I must get a Haraella odorata. As of yesterday Popow orchids is auctioning one on Ebay, so I'll let you know tomorrow afternoon if I won it!! If not, I'll contact him and see if he has others I could just buy normally through his website. I will get one, no matter what!

For any out there who are interested, I am now the owner of a Haraella odorata! Can't wait for the package to arrive.
