Parkside Summerfest
Went to Parkside nursery over the weekend. What a great nursery in the middle of nowhere PA. There were twenty one other vendors there so my will power was kind of week. From the nursery and and the other vendors I came home with these:
Phal sogo grape 'fireball'
Paph. Liemianum
Paph. Haynaldianum
Paph hookarae var. volonteanum
Pot. Kat sky song 'black rose'
Iwanagara Apple blossom 'Mendalhall'
Pot. Little toshie ' golden country'
Phrag. cape may
Phrag. frosted velvet
Phrag Katahdin sunset
Phrag. schlimii x silver eagle
Brassalova david sander
cischienfia sheehaniae
Lc. caligula
Slc. Hsin Buu lady 'YT' AM/AOS
Angraecum didieri
for those of you you have Cleisocentron merrilianum the picture on Andy's sight does not do it justice. It is a deeper blue than that . I have a picture but as usual mine come out a little blurry. I can put it up if people want to at least see the color.

Wow, you made some great choices! I can't even imagine how much fun you must have had! My resistance would have been very low too.

Excellent haul! A lot of your plants are ones on my wish list. You're going to love, love, love Paph. liemianum. It's the gift that keeps on giving. My husband would shoot me if I brought that many home at once.

Great selections. I would love to see the Phrag Frosted Velvet. What color is it? I always have good luck with phrags in S/H.
You must have felt like you were in orchid heaven. I would love to go to the orchid fest in the Chigago area in Sept. if I can find someone to carpool with.
Please post your pic of Cleisocentron merrilianum. I have one but I'm sure it is a long time from blooming.

The Phrags were bought from woodstream orchids
The all rasberry is frosted velvet the white one is the cape may.
When i get home I'll post the picture of the Cleiocentron merrilianum. My picture of it shows the the flowers a lighter blue than they really are. Imagine a dark aquamarine gemstone then imagine the stone frosted so its not see through anymore. Thats the best way I can describe what the flowers look like.

This is Katahidn Sunset.
the cross with silver eagle there isn't a picture of. I asked Bill from woodstream for a silver eagle originally. He only has one but is going to give me a division of it when he does finally divide it.
The other picture is Silver Eagle.

If I was still married there would have been a high possibility I would have been shot also
I do love liemianum I bought one in flower. It has one fully open and another one on the way plus a new growth.
