Oncidiom Sharry Baby Pseudobulb attacked!
Hey Guys,
I have an Onc Sharry Baby sweet fragrance that is stubborn and refuses to bloom.. I decided to bring her outside for the summer to provide a nice temperature drop at night and possibly initiate flowering.. also conditions are really good here in summer with 25 to 30+ day time, night 15 to 20+ and 50 to 90% humidity... plant gets morning sun till 10-11ish then shade for the rest of the day with lots of air circulation.
I woke up this morning and found out something attacked one of the pbulbs... attached a pic. Other then that the plant is in great condition. It's been sitting there for 1 week and had no such incidents before this night.
I'm wondering
Who what could do that? Squirrel? Bird? Insect?
Is this gonna kill the bulb?
Anything I need to do on the injury to help it?
Is my plant at risk if I leave it outside?
Thanks in advance
Manu
